Bartington Instruments designs and manufactures high precision fluxgate magnetometers, Helmholtz coil systems, gradiometers, magnetic susceptibility instruments and associated data processing equipment.

The company was founded in 1985 and, in over 30 years since, has gained extensive experience in the development and manufacture of magnetic field sensors with maximised sensitivity, minimised noise, wide bandwidth, and low power consumption.

Applications are wide ranging in varied market sectors, including defence, surveillance, space, physics, geophysics, industry, archaeology, and oil and mineral exploration.
